Clean Harbors Weymouth, MA is looking for a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic to join their safety-conscious team! This position will be responsible for the repairs and preventative maintenance of all company-owned fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring health and safety by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures, and acting safely at all times;
* Moving company equipment safely on yard as needed;
* Assisting drivers with addressing vehicle issues;
* Performing preventative maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment;
* Performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication;
* Completing daily checklists as required;
* Ensuring equipment is properly parked/secured in compliance with facility permit and DOT requirements;
* Maintaining facility cleanliness through housekeeping duties;
* Performing other duties as assigned by management based on business needs.
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
* High School diploma or equivalent required
* Ability to work in a team environment
* 1+ years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
* 1+ years of DOT inspection experience
* Must provide own basic tools
* Related mechanical certifications (not required)
* Ability to pass background, drug, and physical tests upon hire
