Job Title: Production / Factory Manager Role Overview The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily factory operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of units. The role includes managing production teams, maintaining health and safety standards, coordinating materials and logistics, and monitoring performance through reporting and KPIs. The position requires strong leadership, operational planning, and a commitment to continuous improvement across production processes. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety Maintain responsibility for daily health and safety for yourself and your team in accordance with company procedures. Conduct regular shop floor audits covering health and safety, progress, quality, and procedures. Carry out multiple daily walkaround inspections of exits, walkways, scaffolding, edge protection, and general housekeeping. Ensure the factory environment is clean, organised, and free from hazards. Production & Operations Oversee all factory and site staff responsible for the build and assembly of units. Ensure production targets, build quality, and delivery schedules are achieved. Monitor production statistics and report performance to the wider management team. Coordinate with external transport providers to plan collections and deliveries.
