Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Team Leader to join our dedicated team at the Salford Physical Disabilities Service. This full‑time role, located in Salford, Manchester, offers up to £14.45 per hour and involves leading staff, ensuring high‑quality person‑centred care, and supporting service users to maintain independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to deliver the service daily and manage operational requirements.
* Lead and supervise a team of staff, providing coaching, performance management and support.
* Oversee staff deployment to meet individual needs and preferences within available resources.
* Identify training needs (both mandatory and service‑specific) and maintain accurate records.
* Respond to referrals, conduct initial assessments of need, and ensure all service users have co‑produced support plans and designated Key Workers.
* Establish clear goals and pathways toward greater independence for service users, organising regular person‑centred reviews.
* Work closely with local multi‑disciplinary teams and community‑based agencies to provide holistic, wrap‑around support.
* Maintain high standards of environmental safety and quality, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
* Facilitate service user engagement, involvement, and peer support, and support robust quality monitoring methods.
* Provide exceptional customer care, proactively communicate with stakeholders about risk management and the welfare of the people supported.
