The Role: Kitchen Assistant
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistants to support the kitchen team in preparing, assembling, and maintaining high-quality food products in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. This is a 7-day operation, including weekends, so flexibility is essential.
You will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations by assisting chefs, maintaining hygiene standards, and helping with deliveries and storage.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist chefs with food preparation and portioning
* Assemble and pack food items according to production requirements
* Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas
* Follow food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times
* Support with receiving, checking, and correctly storing incoming deliveries
* Keep workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean, organised, and well maintained
* Report any issues, shortages, or quality concerns to the Supervisor
* Carry out any other reasonable tasks needed to support kitchen operations
