Ensures materials, outsourced components, and vendor services are purchased in alignment with scope, schedule, and budget. Scope & Autonomy Manages moderate-complexity projects on behalf of the procurement team End to end ownership of procurement & supply chain functions within a project Regular negotiation responsibility Identifies basic risks and escalates appropriately Accountable for achieving defined annual cost-savings targets through negotiation and strategic sourcing. Performance against these targets will be evaluated year over year. Responsibilities Act as procurement lead for defined project scopes including third-party services and outsourcing. Issue RFQs/RFPs for both materials and third-party services, organizesupplier responses, and lead basic bid evaluations. Work with engineering and PMs to validate requirements. Delegate work to other members of the procurement who are supporting the project. Develop POs that include necessary drawings, specifications, vendorservices agreements/SOWs and terms. Manage orders cradle-to-grave: confirmations, expediting, changes,delivery, and invoice closure. Resolve routine supplier or delivery issues. Contribute to vendor qualification and category strategy initiatives. Prepare procurement status reports, spend summaries, and risk updates. Lead supplier negotiations to drive measurable commercial value,consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual savings targets. Track, document, and report savings monthly and annually, withperformance evaluated year over year as part of the formal performancecycle.
