Hawthorn One are representing a Manufacturing business with a global presence, with a group turnover of over 50 million, with their UK finance team based at their Accrington Manufacturing site. They have multiple entities that manufacture a range of technical manufactured products to a diverse market. After a team restructure, with lots of internal change with processes and group structure, they're looking for an Finance Business Partner to join their team of 6. This job is newly created following a recent restructure and growth of the finance team in Accrington, in which they require additional support on the ledgers on a part time basis, ideally 20 hours per week, hours to be agreed on interview and based on the candidates requirements. The Part Time Accounts Assistant Job This Accounts Assistant job, part time, will work 20 hours and support the finance team and the full time accounts assistant on core finance administration duties. You will support the purchase ledger predominantly posting invoices, but will also support processing sales ledger invoices, year end audits, reconciliations of the bank / suppliers and purchase orders, and support setting up new customers and suppliers. It is essential you have experience in a finance team, ideally with accounts payable experience. Given this is a supporting role, you must be open to supporting the wider team with duties outside of your job description to meet deadlines and have a pro-active attitude to your work. Person fit is extremely important, you must be able to communicate effectively, have a friendly personality and hard-working attitude. This position is to work 20 hours, and these can be agreed to suit your needs. Whether that be working 20 hours over 5 days within school hours, or 3 full days, there are no set hours and can be agreed upon successful appointment. However you must want to work part time. Benefits Healthcare, 26 days holiday, 5% employer pension scheme. Salary will be depending on experience, but ideally between £26,000 - £28,000 Full time equivalent.
