About the Role
Mobile Vehicle Technician in the Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division. The role involves scheduled, pre‑booked maintenance and repair work delivered at members’ locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine servicing
* Conduct diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment
* Carry out in‑depth repairs normally completed in a workshop
* Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection
* Perform vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards
Requirements
* Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
* Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
Salary and Working Hours
Competitive base salary of £40,178, with on‑target earnings up to £52,000. 40 hours per week, core hours 8:30 am–5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
