The Role
Seeking a Financial Controller to join the finance team in London. This is a hands on role at the core of the finance function, with responsibility for maintaining the integrity of financial reporting across the group.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations across the group
* Group reporting and consolidation, including monthly close and management accounts
* Supporting the preparation of board packs and sponsor reporting
* Ensuring compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies
* Working closely with local finance teams across multiple jurisdictions to drive consistency and accuracy in reporting
* Supporting audit processes and liaising with external auditors
* Contributing to process improvement initiatives across the finance function as the business continues to scale
Candidate Profile
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Strong technical accounting skills with demonstrable experience in balance sheet reconciliations, consolidations, and group reporting
* Experience in a multi entity, multi jurisdictional environment
* Exposure to PE backed or sponsor backed businesses
* Comfortable operating in a lean finance team where ownership and accountability are expected
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands on approach
* Familiarity with energy, infrastructure, or industrials sectors
