Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate reports to the Head of Buying and Merchandising and works within a close-knit team. Day to day, you will be responsible for:
* Working with the Buying & Commercial teams on forecasting future sales/stock requirements for the UK stock locations ensuring the right stock is at the right level and in the right location.
* Maintain seasonal stock levels in line with stock turn targets & availability targets of a minimum of 95% availability at all times at all UK locations.
* Raising purchase orders on suppliers and ensure they are delivered on time and to agreed costs
* Expediting orders to ensure stock availability and following orders through to delivery of goods.
* Organising the logistics of goods to & from the EU to both the UK & (in the absence of the USA Merchandiser) for the USA.
* Dealing with Customs Agents and any applicable paperwork.
* Communicating any potential delays, supply, or product issues to the wider team.
* Build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with the supply chain.
* Working closely with other departments to identify and deliver new products/sourcing opportunities.
* Process and Identify invoice queries and communicating these to the supplier and wider team.
* Ensure supplier costs are up-to date and accurate on Sage
* Agree Supplier KPI's and monitor supplier performance highlighting any major variances
* Arranging timely testing of UK products in accordance with British Standards and maintaining records.
* Insuring the correct labelling of goods, in accordance with any regional legal requirements.
* Supporting our retail stores, raising weekly replenishment orders, maintaining stock levels, organising & performing regular stock takes both remotely & in person.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

* Oakham LE15 6QF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

* strong excel skills (V look ups and pivot tables) and previous experience with an ERP such as Sage are advantageous and ideal. An analytical approach and skillset. is essential
* the role is office based and full time-we will require you to be located near Oakham or willing to drive or commute by train (we are 10 mins walk from Oakham train station) on a daily basis.
