Overview
EduTalent Group are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children in the Early Years and primary age range. This role focuses on providing a nurturing and engaging environment where children can develop socially, emotionally and academically.
The ideal candidate will hold an Early Years Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and have experience working in nurseries or early years settings. A strong interest in supporting children's early development and learning journey is essential.
Duties
* Assist teachers with the planning and delivery of lessons and activities across the Early Years and primary age groups.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to children's individual needs, including those with additional learning requirements.
* Contribute to observations, assessments and progress records in line with the EYFS framework.
* Support children's social skills, communication and emotional well-being.
* Encourage independence and help children develop self-help skills.
* Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment indoors and outdoors.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents and other professionals to ensure consistent support.
* Assist in setting up, preparing and tidying away learning resources and classroom areas.
Requirements
* Early Years Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
* Previous experience working with children in nurseries, early years or primary school settings.
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents and staff.
* Patience, empathy and enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development.
* A proactive approach with the flexibility to adapt to individual needs.
