We are seeking an experienced SAP Security and Authorizations Specialist to manage role design, access control, and compliance across a complex SAP landscape, ensuring secure and efficient user access aligned with business and audit requirements.
Responsibilities
* Analyse SAP role requests from functional leads or project outputs, translate into technical requirements, and present solutions with cost and time estimates.
* Build and implement SAP roles; coordinate testing across SAP landscapes and apply remediation as needed, following risk and change control processes.
* Translate technical changes into operational requirements and ensure documentation is complete, shared, and adopted by the Service Request Team.
* Provide expert guidance on SAP roles, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices, policies, and procedures.
* Design and execute periodic reviews of SAP roles and access to meet audit and compliance standards.
* Resolve SAP role-related incidents, ensuring appropriate prioritisation and stakeholder communication.
* Manage service delivery and collaboration with external SAP partners, ensuring timely and quality resolution of delegated tasks.
* Collaborate with the Service Request Team to triage and resolve service requests and incidents, ensuring consistent, customer‑focused outcomes.
* Contribute to special projects and initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
Requirements
* Strong experience in SAP role design, implementation, and maintenance across systems such as ECC, SRM, CRM, BW, GRC, Gateway, SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud, FSM, and SAP BTP.
* Proficiency in SAP security tools and transactions (e.g., PFCG, SU01), including role creation via manual and transport mechanisms.
* Understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles and ability to advise on role changes and compliance.
* Experience coordinating with cross‑functional teams and managing service requests through ticketing systems (e.g., BMC).
* Familiarity with SAP GRC Access Control and audit processes.
