Project Officer/PMO

Role Overview
We are looking for a PMO professional who combines strong governance and reporting skills with a proactive, delivery-oriented mindset. This role goes beyond traditional PMO tasks, requiring someone who can support and occasionally lead project streams, act as a trusted advisor, and ensure alignment between project execution and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day coordination of the IT transformation project on behalf of the business
* Coordination of stakeholders; facilitating routine interactions between internal subject matter experts (SME) and the external project management and development teams
* Fulfil the role of secretary for the IT project steerco, capturing required actions, tracking risks and issues, and gathering other management information as required
* Providing project status updates to management, ensuring that alignment to the project plan is maintained and concerns are communicated swiftly
* Act as the key liaison for the business with development teams to ensure that business requirements are articulated appropriately
* Build an understanding of business processes to help create workflows as part of the system design
* Responsible for organising workshops and other project meetings
Ideal Profile
* Experience of IT project coordination and management within financial services
* Proven ability to understand business requirements and communicate them to stakeholders
* Previous experience of internal and external stakeholder management and coordination across multiple departments
* Facilitates clear and open communication among internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to set and meet deadlines, ensuring that stakeholders are aware of expectations and deliverables
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify risks, inconsistencies, and errors in project plans and documentation
Desirable
· Familiarity with CRM platforms, including workflow design
· Business Analyst experience
· Relevant project management qualification .

Pay: £47,000.00-£57,000.00 per year
