These roles support maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness to create a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors. Flexible part-time shifts are available across weekdays and weekends.

Main duties of the job
* Mopping, scrubbing, buffing of floors; carpet shampooing and vacuuming
* Damp dusting of fixtures and fittings
* Cleaning of sanitary areas (toilets and bathrooms)
* Clearing ward kitchens and kitchen equipment; washing up and crockery
* Assisting with service of meals to patients (serving beverages and collecting dirty crockery)
* Removal and disposal of refuse; disposal of dirty linen
* Bed making and changing of beds and cubicle curtains following Health and Safety guidelines
* Cleaning of rooms/bed areas following infection outbreaks
Person specification / Qualifications
* Punctual, reliable and committed to high standards
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Aware of infection control and health & safety practices (training provided)
* Friendly and professional in approach
* Good standard of education in English and Maths
* Experience communicating effectively with individuals at all levels
* Ability to work well as part of a team across multiple sites
* Strong understanding of confidentiality
* Good awareness of high cleaning standards and hygiene practices
* Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and procedures
* Previous experience in a domestic, cleaning or healthcare environment is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
