As a Machine Minder at Taiko Foods, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production machinery. You will be responsible for overseeing the machinery, ensuring it is maintained in optimal condition, and ensuring the production process runs without disruptions. If you’re a hands-on, problem-solving individual with experience in machine operation and maintenance, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
* Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
* Identify and resolve any machinery malfunctions or breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
* Assist with setting up and changing over machines to accommodate different production runs.
* Ensure all machinery complies with health and safety standards, reporting any issues to the relevant personnel.
* Record and report any issues, machine performance, and maintenance activities.
* Collaborate with the production team to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products.
* Ensure the machines are properly calibrated and verified as per company requirements.
* Help troubleshoot production issues, working closely with the technical team to resolve problems quickly.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in machine operation and maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and manufacturing procedures.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meeting tight production deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
* Willingness to learn new techniques and grow within the role.
* Basic understanding of health and safety protocols in a production setting.
* Flexibility to work shifts (if applicable) and overtime as needed.
