We are assisting a leading high-end Fit Out & Joinery Contractor with operations all over Europe in their search for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to be working on the company's high-end interiors & joinery projects in Glasgow, Scotland. As an ideal Project Manager you will support the Project Director throughout all stages of a large-scale projects, including design, construction, testing and handover.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Initiate detailed project plans, schedules and budgets for high-end interiors & joinery projects (hotel, retail, commercial).

Team up with stakeholders to specify project goals, deliverables and success criterias.
*
Oversee all the site construction activities ensuring that works are performed safely and effectively following the project plans and specifications.
*
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
*
Carry out quality control measures and procedures to identify and address construction errors and deficiencies.
*
Manage project costs and cash flows and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
*
Prepare regular updates on project progress, milestones and issues, and address stakeholder concerns in a timely and professional manner.
*
Oversee the contractual conditions are complied to and the contractual position is not compromised.

Strong understanding of joinery and extensive joinery management experience on interior fit-out type projects.
*
Degree in Construction Management/ Engineering or related field.
*
Proven experience in Project Management roles within construction.
*
Proven track record in delivering large complex projects within construction.
*
Knowledge in reading, understanding and interpreting contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, project programme and project agreements.
*
Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results within budget and schedule.
*
Strong verbal & written communication and problem solving skills.
*
Proficiency in project management softwares and tools.
