Job description
Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit a PE Coach to join a supportive SEND organisation in Macclesfield. This role will see the successful applicant cover a mix of subjects, along with their specialism of PE being 50% of the timetable. The PE will mostly be Year 7 and Year 8.
There is lots of training available for the successful position and managers run regular CPD for all staff. This role would be ideal for someone considering teacher training for September 2024. The role of a PE coach is much more “all encompassing” and you will provide some academic support, some 1:1 mentoring, and some “crisis intervention” to support students who need intervention. This is a full time role and will run until July 2024.
Standards are high and the young people in the school are supported from day one with a uniform approach by teachers and support staff, and a calm, positive environment is noticed from the moment you enter the setting. Our client enjoys a strong reputation inside the SEMH domain and is proud of the standards they set.
