Fuel Systems Placement Student
Position within Airbus Protect Sustainability Team in Filton. The role focuses on ZEROe hydrogen fuel system and sustainable aviation fuel research and development projects, contributing to aircraft certification and design.
Key Responsibilities
* A wide variety of tasks related to all phases of the fuel system design lifecycle from initial concept through to extended service goal.
* Design, development, certification and continued safe operation of fuel systems and fuel inerting systems in Fixed Wing Aircraft, using Kerosene, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and research into cryogenic hydrogen fuel systems. This also includes leading activities that advance the project on behalf of the customer.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Enrolled full‑time undergraduate student in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
* Fluent in English.
* Basic knowledge of AI tools.
* Team player with good analytical skills, able to work independently and eager to learn new topics.
Placement Details
Undergraduate only. The student must remain an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please provide your graduation date in your application.
