Following significant investment in their production facilities and infrastructure, the business is now looking to appoint an experienced Purchasing & Procurement Manager to lead their procurement function. At the forefront of their market, the business is driving innovation with new technology — including a state-of-the-art welding robot going into production next week — making this a fantastic time to join and shape the future of their supply chain. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded procurement professional with a strong engineering background to step into a high-impact role, managing a large spend and playing a key part in the continued growth of the organisation. Reporting into the Supply Chain Director, you’ll take full responsibility for the purchasing function, leading a team of two and overseeing a £25m annual budget across a supply chain of more than 100 suppliers. Your expertise in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost control will be vital in ensuring that materials, components, and services are delivered effectively to meet production demands.
