Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support a Solicitor within its growing Commercial Property department at the Solihull office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established firm offering a supportive and professional working environment.
The Role
You will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support, including:

* Managing Fee Earner diaries, meetings and appointments
* Ordering property and pre-completion searches (including Land Registry)
* Carrying out ID checks and conflict checks
* Opening and closing files
* Using the firm's case management system effectively
* Preparing basic contract packs and assisting with legal documentation
* Producing client correspondence from dictated notes
* Submitting SDLT forms to HMRC
* Submitting applications to register properties with the Land Registry
* Assisting with drafting contract packs, transfer forms and other legal documents
* Handling routine client correspondence and queries
* Creating and maintaining accurate client records in line with Lexcel requirements
* Requesting and recording client monies
* Maintaining confidentiality at all times
* Providing reception cover when required
