The school supports children and young people aged 2-19 with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), providing a highly nurturing and individualised learning environment. About the Role Deliver pre-planned lessons to class sizes of up to 10 pupils. Work across the whole school, supporting learners from early years through to post-16. Adapt teaching approaches to meet a wide range of complex learning, communication, sensory, and physical needs. Support the class teacher in creating a positive, safe, and structured learning environment. Promote engagement, independence, and holistic development. Contribute to assessments, observations, and individual support planning. About You HLTA status or significant experience delivering lessons in specialist settings. Experience working within SEN, particularly with SLD and/or PMLD pupils, is highly desirable. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build trusting, supportive relationships.
