Job Title: Senior Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Billingham
Salary: Up to £48,000pa + benefits pro rata
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Part Time (4 days per week)
Role Summary
This role will be working onsite in Billingham 4 days per week where you will take full ownership of the companies wellbeing platform and employee engagement with wellbeing initiatives. You will also have ownership of CF's chronic condition management & prevention programme as well as Physical demands analysis. A Physical Demands Analysis (PDA) is a process used to quantify, and evaluate all of the physical and environmental demand components of all essential and nonessential tasks of a job i.e.: how much weight should the worker be able to lift, how much time is sitting, standing, bending, etc. We would then take this analysis and work with our client to determine the best functional health testing needed to ensure current and incoming workers are “fit for work”. We would perform this testing as part of new hire, annual physicals, and return to work processes.
This will be a varied role which will involve undertaking workplace assessments and reporting on potential risks to health. You will undertake health surveillance, preemployment and fitness for work screenings where appropriate. You will also advise employees on both physical and mental health problems, all the while maintaining the highest standards of occupational healthcare.

Who Are We Looking For?
* You will need to be a Registered General Nurse with previous experience in Occupational Health, as an Occupational Health Advisor.
* Current NMC Registration
* An Occupational Health Nursing qualification is desirable however, candidates with relevant experience may also be considered
* You will need to be a proactive, friendly and professional person who is confident managing their own workload.
* Ability to travel to clinic when required.
