Job Title: Qualified Nursery Practitioner

Salary: From £29,250 per year
A wonderful opportunity has arisen in our fantastic, homely nursery in East Grinstead. We are looking for a well-motivated, enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic team. This role offers flexibility, and we welcome part-time applicants who can choose to work 1-4 days per week, depending on personal preference.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children in line with the EYFS framework.
* Maintain excellent communication with parents, providing daily updates on their child's progress and activities.
* Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of all children in your care.
* Support children's development through creative, fun, and educational activities.
* Keep up-to-date records of each child's development and milestones.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive nursery environment.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NNEB) (required).
* NVQ Level 2 applicants considered, ideally with experience in caring for babies or toddlers.
* At least 1 year of experience in a nursery or childcare setting (required).
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
* Experience with online learning journals (useful but not essential).
Working Hours:
* Standard shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00 (1-hour lunch break)
* Part-time applicants can choose to work 1-4 days per week.
