We're currently looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Junior Account Manager to join our Meals Solutions division at Rogerstone Park, South Wales. The Role As Junior Account Manager, you'll play a key role in driving category performance and managing customer relationships. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll support the full P&L management of a key category, working on NPD, EPD and value optimisation initiatives, and helping to shape category plans that grow both customer and business profitability. You'll also be responsible for supporting key customer projects and may deputise for the Commercial Manager when required. Key Responsibilities Act as the lead day-to-day contact for the Category Buyer, managing effective communication between customer and internal teams. Coordinate and facilitate meetings with customers, becoming recognised as the customer and consumer champion for your category. Work with the NPD and Innovation teams to develop relevant, market-leading products that exceed customer expectations. Drive category profitability by identifying and implementing cost-saving (VO) initiatives and managing category promotional plans. Contribute to the Joint Business Plan (JBP) and category strategy using IRI data analysis to identify sales and growth opportunities. Maintain accurate commercial forecasts and reporting, supporting the site's S&OP processes. Lead and contribute to projects that strengthen strategic partnerships and enhance business performance. About You We're looking for someone with strong commercial acumen and a real passion for food. You'll thrive in a fast-paced FMCG environment and have the confidence to build strong relationships both internally and externally. Essential skills and experience: FMCG background (ideally short shelf life / high care food). Experience working with major retail customers and understanding their systems and processes.
