James Andrews are proud to be partnering with a family-run international manufacturing business that is now looking to appoint an Engineering Manager on a permanent basis. This will be a full-time position based on-site and in the Worcestershire region. The position comes with an attractive remuneration package and benefits, including a car allowance and company bonus scheme.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of engineering and leadership experience, alongside a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field. You will also be able to use AutoCAD or SolidWorks systems.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Leading in the design, engineering and project delivery
2. Supporting the business through a hands-on approach in all engineering and product related activities
3. Managing and challenging the engineering process to meet tight deadlines
4. Implementing processes and procedures that comply with best practice
5. Working collaboratively with internal teams, customers and suppliers in ensuring products meet the expected standards and quality
6. Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards
7. Supporting in the continual improvement of the engineering and production processes
Experience required:
8. 2+ years of engineering and leadership experience
9. Experience of working within the manufacturing industry with additional preference in the automotive sector
10. Strong project management and communication skills
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
11. Degree qualified in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
12. Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ETAP, or similar tools
Working hours:
13. 37 per week, Monday to Friday
14. Full time on-site
