We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team at a thriving secondary school in Preston. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and supporting their learning in the classroom.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher.
* Deliver pre-prepared work to students and ensure lessons run smoothly.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Support students to engage positively with their learning.
* Provide assistance with administrative tasks when required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Confident, resilient, and able to engage with young people.
* Able to manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Flexible, well-organised, and able to use their initiative.
* Ideally experienced working with young people in an educational setting (though training will be provided).
