Office Manager
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm.
Location: Stone, Staffordshire
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a logistical mindset and demonstrate effective team management capabilities. This role requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Office Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office while supporting staff and management.
Duties
* Supervise and support office staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Coordinate and oversee the booking of jobs including allocation of appropriate resources.
* Handle human resources responsibilities such as onboarding new employees and managing employee records.
* Establish and monitor performance goals, including annual KPIs and the achievement of those goals.
* Perform quality control within the office.
* Assist in the development of office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members, providing constructive feedback to promote professional growth.
* Oversee the management of the group's property portfolio, ensuring the group is compliant with landlord related regulations.
* Oversee compliance with the group's ISO accreditations, Health and Safety regulations and other regulatory bodies (full training will be given).
* Review the group's insurance renewals, ensuring a competitive price if achieved.
* Work closely with the Head of Operations and Director on company projects.
Experience
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience in an office management role.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strive for quality - work to a high standard, showing care and thought in all you do and holding others to that same standard.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on professionalism.
* A background in clerical work, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks undertaken.
* Self motivated and able to motivate others.
