Are you an experienced production engineer with a passion for precision, innovation, and continuous improvement? Join Rittal-CSM Ltd, a global leader in enclosure systems and industrial automation, as our new Senior Production Engineer.
As a Senior Production Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving manufacturing excellence through advanced programming, process optimisation, and cost analysis. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and support our production goals.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business, maintaining active communication and collaboration to ensure smooth operations and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
 1. Complete SAP Special Order Processing, including BOMs and Routings
 2. Program Punches using TruTops Boost & Lantek software
 3. Program Lasers and Robotic Folding Cells using TruTops Boost
 4. Program Salvagnini Flat Part Lines
 5. Prepare special quotations based on customer specifications
 6. Conduct NPI costings, from accessories to full enclosures
 7. Identify and implement best practices in processes, material utilisation, and tooling
 8. Solve production-related problems efficiently and effectively
Key Performance Indicators
 9. Quotes delivered on time and right first time
 10. Data packs completed on time and right first time
 11. Programs created right first time
Experience & Qualifications
 12. Time-served engineering background or equivalent experience
 13. Proven ability to optimise processes and tooling
 14. Strong understanding of assembly processes and time requirements
 15. Experience in accurate manufacturing costings and payback calculations
 16. Proficiency in programming software (TruTops Boost, Lantek)
 17. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 18. Ability to mentor and support junior engineers
 19. Sheet metal manufacturing knowledge (advantageous)
