We're currently recruiting a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to help ensure the smooth running of operations in a major High Street brand on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:
* Understanding and delivering all contractual terms.
* Communicating any on-site client changes to the line manager.
* Regular communication with clients and sub-contractors as agreed.
* Promoting the accommodation and amenity units and acting as a Compass Advocate at all times.
* Ensuring all services are delivered to the correct standard.
* Looking for opportunities to develop our service.
* Seeking ways to improve work activities and promote efficiency.
* Developing contract specifications and SLAs to ensure optimal service delivery.
* Reporting health and safety issues, including accidents and near misses.
* Promoting good safety habits and safe systems of work.
* Delivering training on machinery operation, ensuring safety and compliance.
* Ensuring facilities contract staff are qualified and experienced.
* Managing staff availability, resource planning, and succession management.
* Conducting staff reporting, appraisals, team briefs, and setting standards.
* Motivating staff and fostering cross-team cooperation.
* Managing expenditure to ensure value for money.
* Maintaining auditable records.
Our ideal Deputy Manager will:
Essential:
* Possess excellent customer-facing, people, and operational management skills.
* Have attention to detail and accuracy.
* Have team management experience, including performance management, coaching, and service contract monitoring.
* Be smart, polite, and well-presented.
* Possess excellent customer service skills.
* Be a strong team player.
* Have experience within a corporate Health & Safety culture.
* Have experience with Financial Controls.
* Have FM experience (essential).
* Hold a valid driving license.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in Aviation.
* Experience with maintenance software.
* Knowledge of transport management systems.
* Experience managing multiple sites with Compass.
