As an organisation, there is little we dont do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
About M Group Plant and Fleet and your team
With 8 depots across the UK, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across M Group Services. We provide our business with more than 9,000 vehicles and over 25,000 owned or externally hired plant assets.
Our team has grown rapidly and we are responsible for the supply and management of specialist equipment and vehicles, supplying the Water, Energy, Transport, Data and Telecommunication sectors.
We are looking to offer a Parts Controller the opportunity to join our expanding Plant & Fleet team based in Castleford.
As a Parts Controlleryou will be a part of our commitment to deliver what we promise for our clients, within the leading essential infrastructure services provider operating within the UK & Ireland.

What youll be doing? Be responsible for the creation of purchase requisitions and recording goods inwards and outwards
You'll communicate with our Service team to ensure parts OTIF for jobs as required
Manage good working relationships with our Mobile workforce
Provide support to the Compliance and Service team around parts availability and support costings for assets disposal
Manage good working relationships with our national suppliers
Provide support in highlighting areas of efficiency around parts ordering process
Ensure parts are available to support with reactive breakdowns
What youll bring? Youve worked in a similar role within a parts/stores environment
You are happy using computers and systems
You will be a key member of our team and will work closely with others in the department, and therefore you possess effective communication skills
You are someone who prides themselves on having a high level of attention to detail and you are comfortable organising and prioritising your work
Youre someone with a strong commitment to maintain high standards of service delivery
You hold a full driving licence
