We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who is looking to make a real impact within a values-driven manufacturing business in York. Reporting into the MD and partnering closely with the Operations Manager, the People & Culture Partner will be responsible for strengthening company culture, driving employee engagement and ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with operational and leadership teams to provide strategic and hands-on HR support.
* Lead initiatives across talent management, employee engagement, workforce planning, and organisational change.
* Coach and support managers on HR best practices and employment law.
* Use data insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
* Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with company values.
* Develop and communicate people policies and procedures in line with best practices and company values.
Skills and Experience:
* Proven HRBP experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
* CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent experience).
* A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently.
This is a great opportunity for a HR professional looking to work for a company with true values on a part-time basis. This is an on-site role, 3 days per week, offering circa £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
