Location: Based in Cambridge with regular travel to Oxford and occasional national/international travel
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum + 10% bonus + equity options + healthcare, pension, and other benefits
Requirements for Technical Support Engineer:
* A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related technical field
* At least 2 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role
* Experience developing or supporting advanced imaging or camera systems (infrared experience a plus)
* Strong communication skills with a proven ability to convey complex technical concepts to a range of audiences
* Comfortable producing technical documentation, user guides, and support materials
* Familiarity with networking concepts and IT infrastructure
* Proficiency in relevant programming or scripting tools
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Familiarity with CRM tools is a bonus
* Happy to travel regularly as part of the role
Responsibilities for Technical Support Engineer:
* Build, test, debug, and document production-level imaging systems
* Deliver effective, timely technical support to clients via email, phone, and in person
* Conduct technical demonstrations and presentations to customers and internal teams
* Develop and maintain user guides, scripts, and demo materials to support product usage
* Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify and resolve product issues and improve user experience
