Join Our Team as an Authorised Person (AP) and Power the Rail Network!
Location: Essex, London, Cambridge, Peterborough & the Midlands.
Hours: This is a 0 hour role, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
TES 2000 is on the lookout for a highly skilled and safety-conscious Authorised Person (AP) to join our growing Electrification team. If you're passionate about the rail industry and take pride in keeping everyone safe, this could be the perfect fit for you.
As an AP, you\'ll be the person ensuring the safety of your entire team. You\'ll perform crucial switching, testing, and earthing of the Overhead Line Equipment, all while upholding the highest Network Rail standards.

About You
What We\'re Looking For:
* Proven experience in the rail industry with an in-depth knowledge of Network Rail rules.
* Current or a willingness to obtain the following competencies: PTS, DCCR, First Aid for Electrical Accidents and Electrical Burns, AP OLE/AC-1, AP OLE/AT-1, COSS OLP/CRP LLT, OLEC 1.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
* A valid UK driving licence.
What You\'ll Do:
* Undertake switching, testing, and earthing of overhead lines.
* Work in strict compliance with all relevant Railway Group Standards and Network Rail regulations.
* Attend site meetings and collaborate with the Nominated Person and the Electrical Control Room.
* Organise and manage staff under your control.
* Perform bonding, inspections, and safety briefings.
* Ensure all team members wear appropriate PPE and hold the correct competencies.
