Educational Visits Leader

£14.71 to £17.86 per hour

Working with schools, families and community groups, the organisation creates high quality learning experiences that encourage confidence, resilience and a lifelong connection with nature.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and deliver outdoor learning activities
Lead educational day visits, residential stays and family engagement programmes
Work closely with schools and community groups to develop tailored visit programmes
Deliver curriculum-linked learning activities for children and young people
Evaluate learning outcomes and maintain high quality standards
Support safeguarding, health and safety and risk management procedures
Develop educational resources and learning environments
Support the care and welfare of on-site animals and wildlife areas
Contribute to community events and fundraising activities
Promote the organisation's mission and values
Key Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Level 4 qualification HLTA/QTS or other Teaching Qualification desirable
Experience leading outdoor learning activities
Strong knowledge of EYFS and the Primary National Curriculum
Experience working within an educational setting
Experience working with children with SEND
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Confidence leading groups and supporting teams
Passion for environmental and outdoor education
Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
Ability to build positive relationships with schools, families and partners
