Ulster Wildlife is looking for a passionate and skilled Project Ecologist to join the ambitious PEAT+ Project.
In this exciting role, you'll lead on ecological monitoring across a network of upland and lowland peatland sites, supporting project partners in delivering baseline surveys, biodiversity assessments, and mapping. You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders—from conservation staff and landowners to volunteers and local communities.
We're Looking For Someone With
* Comprehensive knowledge of flora, fauna and key nature conservation issues
* Technical knowledge of peatland ecology and restoration
* Strong ecological survey and monitoring skills
* Experience analysing data and producing scientific reports
* Confidence working in the field and building relationships with farmers and landowners
* Experience in the use of GIS software to map, collect and analyse environmental data.

Full-time, Fixed-term to 31 March 2029, unless renewed.
