We support people in their own homes (Supported Living) and in the community, enabling individuals to live a full and varied life. The people we support are empowered to have choice and control over their own lives and our team plays a huge role in enabling people to achieve this. We are advocates for the rights of those who require additional support.
We’re a family-owned and run organisation that has been established for over 20 years. We have grown our services organically and now have 15 locations across Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington, & Hull. We pride ourselves on high-quality, person-centred support that we deliver around the clock.
Accountability & Responsibility
At Moorview Care, our Registered Managers (RMs) are accountability performance managers leading their localities in terms of performance delivery against all KPIs and metrics and will be held responsible for effective delivery of all care and support, liaising closely with internal and external housing landlords to resolve matters arising.
The postholder will manage the performance of their team, including the delivery of care and support which promotes dignity, wellbeing and independence and a person-centred culture.
RMs are accountable for the provision of care and support in their registered services and will be the lead professional and role model for their team. This includes delivering high-quality, consistent care and support that meets personalised needs while maintaining dignity and independence.
RMs are responsible for delivering, monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of support and service delivery in line with the organisation’s mission and vision.
The RM will hold CQC registration for an allocated group of Supported Living settings and Community Support, with salary reviewed after full region establishment and registration.
The RM has overall responsibility for operational day-to-day leadership, compliance with regulatory and internal standards, and engagement with Local Authority and NHS contractual standards.
The RM will undertake quality monitoring, including audits of day-to-day practice, and will role model all aspects of a support worker role. They are accountable for managing agreed support delivery hours and ensuring budgeted income/contribution levels are met, including rostering and occupancy improvements.
The RM is responsible for regional growth, implementing organisational change, and contributing to strategic decisions about the locality’s future.
RMs are expected to uphold Moorview Care’s values and Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) and be accountable for people metrics, culture, recruitment, and safe resourcing levels through management of vacancies and recruitment.
RMs are responsible for minimising agency spend through proactive workforce planning and for the management of Moorview Care-owned resources including environment and building management to meet housing compliance KPIs.
RMs line-manage all Team Managers while retaining overall people management accountability for all Support Workers within their Region, including rostering, payroll processes, supervision, annual leave, sickness absence, capability, and other formal matters as they arise.
RMs should be skilled at coaching and developing talent, ensuring mandatory learning is completed and development opportunities are provided. They must ensure competency levels are maintained for new starters and ongoing staff, and be experts on regulatory requirements and policy frameworks for their locality.
RMs are accountable for ensuring registration and CQC compliance with a minimum service rating of “Good”.
