Cover Supervisor
Location: Bolton
Contract: Full-time / Ongoing – consistent need from the school
Start Date: ASAP / January
Pay: £100 per day
Teaching Personnel are working with a large secondary school in Bolton that has a consistent, ongoing need for a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on classroom experience, develop professionally, and potentially progress into teaching in the future.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons to classes across KS3 and KS4
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain on task
* Provide support to students during lessons and maintain high expectations
* Work closely with teaching staff and the cover manager
* Supervise pupils during non-teaching times where required
* Build positive relationships with pupils across the school
The Ideal Candidate
* Confident, proactive, and able to manage a classroom
* Experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work etc.)
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Flexible and able to work across a range of subjects
* A positive and professional approach to supporting students
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
