Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to deliver regulatory responsibilities as the Enforcement Authority for the Reservoirs Act 1975 in England. The Reservoirs Act helps ensure the safe operation and management of dams.
Responsibilities
* Monitor compliance with the Reservoirs Act 1975 for the 2140 reservoirs in England.
* Manage day-to-day correspondence and record incoming documentation on our database to keep records accurate and up to date.
* Encourage compliance when reports or certificates are not received as expected.
* Be the first point of contact for reservoir owners and panel engineers; provide information and advice on the Act's requirements.

Team
You will join the Environmental Assessment and Reservoir Regulation department, part of the Flood & Coastal Risk Management Directorate. The Reservoir Regulation team consists of 25+ people across the country; some travel and overnight stays will be required.
