We are a supporting an SME in their search for a management accountant to join a team of five in this manufacturing business based in Birchwood, Warrington. As a company, they have grown significantly over the last 12 months and are expecting this to continue for the coming years. This is an excellent opportunity, for a candidate to start at the end of January or beginning of February, in a newly created role.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cashflow forecasts
* Lead budgeting and financial planning processes
* Manage year-end audit processes and liaise with external accountants
* Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including VAT and financial regulations
* Improve financial controls, processes, and systems as the business grows
* Support commercial decision-making with analysis and recommendations
The Ideal Candidate
* Part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or equivalent experience
* Strong experience in a management accountant role, ideally within an SME
* Excellent understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cashflow management
* Confident using accounting software
