THE COMPANY: A long-established market leading global international organisation who continue to succeed and grow across a range of commercial and NHS ophthalmic product arenas thanks to innovation, a healthy new product pipeline and a customer focus second to none. This division provide a premium quality range of ophthalmic pharmaceuticals and consumables sold into the acute and primary care sector for use within GP practices, hospitals and clinics.
Creation of a brand-new pharmaceutical sales team with a new dynamic and inspiring sales leader and a growing product range has led to a need to recruit a suitably experienced and ABPI-qualified healthcare sales professionals across the UK.
THE ROLE: As Territory Manager, the successful applicant will enjoy a varied field-based role and you will be tasked with winning new business as well as managing existing accounts and relationships within Yorkshire and the North East. Time will be split between primary and secondary care and contact level will typically be ophthalmologists, surgeons, hospital and practice pharmacists, glaucoma leads, nursing teams and optometrists.
Candidate requirements:-
7. Must have the ABPI qualification and have sold into acute hospitals and primary care environments - strong preference for pharmaceuticals
8. Full driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
The Package for Territory Manager-:
9. Basic: £45,000 to £60,000 doe
10. Commission: 20% capped, paid in two halves twice per year
11. Car: Fully expensed company car or car allowance £700 pcm
