Role overview:
This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the gym, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and high standards of service, while managing a team and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including Health and Safety regulations and the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
* Conduct regular safety checks and report any defects to maintain a safe environment.
* Recruit, manage, and develop a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to ensure operational coverage and service delivery.
* Hold regular team meetings to promote development and communication.
* Achieve set sales and membership targets and maximise secondary spend revenue.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the gym facility to the highest standards, overseeing the work of in-house cleaners.
* Manage weekly banking processes to minimise wastage and maximize profit.
* Ensure all team members adhere to uniform and service standards.
* Deliver outstanding member service and create a positive environment for staff and members.
* Represent JD Gyms as an ambassador at all times.
