Job Introduction
The purpose of the role is to work with the aftersales team where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all vehicle preparation operations within the designated site. This includes managing and monitoring the progress of both new and used vehicles through the preparation process, overseeing the quality control of vehicles, and coordinating with other teams to ensure a seamless and timely delivery of completed vehicles. You will be working with the customer experience leadership to establish requirements and timescales on each vehicles managing the process to quality control sign off and eventually hand over to the sales department once complete.
Main Responsibilities
11. Working in conjunction with the relevant teams to receive instructions on vehicle preparation requirements on both new and used vehicles
12. Monitor the progress of vehicles through the preparation process and ensure that they meet agreed quality control standards as well as identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the process, keeping all parties updated
13. Conduct regular inspections of vehicles, managing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure that they meet quality standards in line with preparation requirements.
14. Maintain accurate records of all vehicles produced
15. Liaise with suppliers and contractors as required to ensure that all necessary repairs are completed
16. Gridding vehicles and identifying any vehicle preparation issues that may prevent a car from selling, suggesting ways to improve the preparation and increase sales
17. Manage and process vehicles throughout the whole journey in the dealership,
18. Build and maintain positive relationships with all team members
19. Managing flow of vehicles both in and out of the site and completing relevant collection/delivery notes identifying and recording and damage, missing parts or issues
20. Registering and controlling key management and vehicle security.
21. Working with various logistics companies to maximise efficiencies for deliveries on site
