Handle are currently working with a market-leading global retailer, who are looking for an Interim Finance Shared Service Manager to lead global finance operations, enhance processes, and drive best practices within a new shared services function.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Finance Manager to gain some valuable experience in such a great brand!
Responsibilities include -
* Maintain accurate general ledgers and timely reconciliations
* Manage cost allocations, inter-company charges, and balance reconciliations
* Support strategic planning for shared services setup and transitions
* Ensure adherence to accounting standards and corporate policies
* Act as liaison between shared services and other departments
* Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals
* Lead initiatives to streamline operations and improve efficiency
* Analyse financial data to deliver actionable insights for decision-making
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Candidate requirements -
* Qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA/ACA or international equivalent
* Extensive background in finance or accounting, ideally with substantial experience in a shared services environment
* Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing finance teams
* Strong knowledge of financial systems and software, including ERP platforms and advanced Excel capabilities
* Proven experience in overseeing projects and driving process enhancements
* Previous retail, FMCG or consumer background is highly advantageous
