Facilities Tech ; Provide and ensure general facilities maintenance. Major Job Responsibilities Provide and ensure general facilities maintenance duties are carried out to a high standard. Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation and procedures. Carry out statutory building maintenance checks and repairs Track and store inventory including spare parts. Support and enhance continuous improvement initiatives on site. Work across two sites in close proximity to each other Related Business/ Technical Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs) Latest IEE Wiring regulations Minimum 2 years facilities / building maintenance experience. Ability to identify parts and spares required to facilitate repairs Proven experience working under minimum direction as a part of a team and following established procedures/instructions on a regular basis. Solid background with basic plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance. Strong communication and organisational skills required. Good IT skills required. Good written and verbal communication, able to communicate and present information effectively to all levels Good in-depth working knowledge of Health and Safety and statutory requirements Developing the ability to prepare and present complex information, with some guidance from Supervision Education & Experience Good general level of education, Good written and verbal communication skills B/Tec Qualified in an Engineering discipline or equivalent (City & Guilds / NVQ etc) Good general level of fitness Manual handling Accuracy / Attention to detail Quality Dependability Computer skills Self- motivated and Target driven Role Model behavior Driving licence essential Willing to provide occasional shift cover for staff holidays @ HYVE Solutions, we believe employees are our greatest asset and we empower them to make a difference in our business.
