Join ourWastewater(Sewage) team as a front‑line Technician Apprentice and play a vital role in keeping our sites and equipmentoperatingsafely, reliably, and efficiently.This is your chance to build a long‑term career with Anglian Water and make a real impact on the environment and our communities.
You’llsplit your time between college learning and hands‑on experience across our operational sites.You’llsupport the wastewater recycling process—collecting,treatingand cleaning wastewater before returning it safely to our rivers and seas.
This is a practical, outdoor role where no two days are the same.It’svaried,rewarding,and occasionally challenging, butyou’llbe part of a supportive team who will help you grow into a skilled technician. Once qualified, you’ll join a 24/7 standby rota because your role is vital.

1. Inspect,maintainand care for essential assets and equipment
2. Support fault‑finding and respond to issues to help keep our sites running efficiently
3. Work and learn alongside experienced mechanical and electrical technicians and follow health & safety rules

6. English, Maths and Science GCSE’s(grades 9–4/A*–C), we can also accept Level 2 Functional Skills -predicted grades will be accepted if you have not yet completed your exams

9. Willingness to work outdoors and learn new skills
If you do not currently hold a full UK driving licence, you’ll need to obtain one by the end of year two of the programme, or if this isn’t possible due to your age, within one year of your 17th birthday.
