An opportunity to join one our long standing clients South of Aberdeen has become available. The client is one of the global leaders in Oil & Gas and have a newly created position for a Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team on a permanent full-time basis. The role is 37.5 hours per week with an early finish every Friday.
The purpose of the role is to perform month-end and day-to-day activities to enable timely and accurate reporting on customer and client projects. The below list is not fully comprehensive of the tasks in this role:
* Perform month-end and day to day tasks to run one of the UK Ledgers and enable timely and accurate reporting on Customer projects.
* Maintain Revenue and Invoicing Models and ensure those are up to date
* Run reports and record revenue accruals.
* Collate monthly submissions from the Regions and calculate Revenue.
* Ensure margin information is kept updated at all times.
* Calculate Regional revenue and raise (IDCMs) at the end of each month;
* Post month-end journals and revenue accruals.
* Record revenue IDCMs related entries against each Region.
* Review and Balance Intercompany position with other counterparts.
Essential Knowledge / Experience:
* Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
* Working knowledge within a financial / accounting environment.
* Experience of PoC accounting methods.
* Experience working with ERP systems.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Knowledge of Financial Analysis and Financial reporting.
* Knowledge of SOX reporting.
Desireable Knowledge / Experience:
* Experienced business partner working with non-financial management.
* Holding or working towards Professional accountancy qualification such as CIMA / ACCA.
Remuneration:
* Up to £37,000 salary
* Discretionary annual bonus
