Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Assistant Design Manager with the Kier Places team, you will play a vital role in delivering a professional, comprehensive, and sustainable design service throughout all delivery stages. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
* Assist in reviewing design information and contractor-designed packages at all RIBA Stages.
* Support the establishment of the design team, ensuring alignment of scope and accountabilities.
* Identify, record, and mitigate design and project risks and opportunities.
* Support pricing assumptions to align with design development.
* Provide information and monitor activities to ensure construction aligns with approved designs.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You have a minimum of HND/HNC/T Level or equivalent (desirable).
* You possess a solid understanding of technical aspects of construction, including the RIBA plan of work and Building Regulations.
* You have excellent communication skills and thrive both independently and as part of a team.
* You hold a full driving license (does not need to be UK-specific).
