About the School
Victoria Park School is a primary school in the rural Clydesdale area, catering for children with severe and profound learning, communication and health needs. Pupil number 72 (P1–P7). The school follows Curriculum for Excellence with additional supports, including sensory room, hydrotherapy pool, soft play area and courtyard. It shares the campus with High Mill Primary School.
Responsibilities
* Lead, manage and support colleagues, providing strategic direction.
* Lead curriculum development and quality assurance.
* Contribute to school policy in relation to pupil behaviour management.
* Review and support professional growth of colleagues through continuous professional learning.
* Lead, implement and manage whole‑school policies, where appropriate, including pastoral care and behaviour support.
Requirements
Applicants must hold or be eligible for registration with the General Teaching Council of Scotland (GTC Scotland) and meet statutory disclosure requirements.
The role requires capacity to reduce classroom contact and perform additional duties within a 35-hour week. Candidates shall demonstrate experience in curriculum development, communication, leadership and team working.
