Randstad have an opportunity available for an experienced Resourcing Consultant to join the existing team at Belfast Metropolitan College.

Requirements
9. Level 5 qualification and 5 years experience in a similar role OR a Level 6 qualification and 3 years experience in a similar role
10. Similar recent experience must included providing expert advice and guidance to managers on resourcing matters. In particular this must have included the full remit of talent deployment, recruitment and selection
11. CIPD Level 7 or equivalent plus professional membership is highly desirable
12. Experience of designing and assessing competency based selection methods is essential
13. Excellent MS Office skills
14. Comprehensive working knowledge of equal opportunities, recruitment and selection
15. Recruiting in the public sector would be highly advantageous
16. Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting and compliance due to the nature of this work
Responsibilities
17. Operate as an internal resources consultant to redesign and implement a fresh and innovative approach to resourcing and the deployment of employees within the College
18. The design and delivery of competency based assessment centres as part of the delivery of this new approach
19. Produce management guideline/ toolkit and a new recruitment procedure
20. Review and update social media advertising and careers website
21. Updating of polices and procedures
22. To use innovation and creativity in the development and implementation of selection methods for the College
23. To provide a resourcing consultancy service to the HR business partner team and the managers within the College
24. To ensure that equality and diversity is embedded fully
25. To manage and monitor the College's appointment policy and procedure to ensure fairness and consistency
26. To advise senior management on the utilisation and deployment of lecturing staff, including the balance between the employment of full time, associate and hourly paid part time lecturers
27. To ensure that contracts of employment are issued to hourly paid part time lecturers
28. To ensure that effective systems are established, maintained and implemented for the recruitment of hourly paid part time lecturers and for the appointment of such staff, including emergency appointments
