Job Description
The Paraplanner's duties include:
3. Preparing new business documentation and regular client review packs.
4. Producing and updating accurate client portfolio valuations and reports.
5. Collaborating with advisers to interpret financial advice based on each client's needs and objectives.
6. Preparing suitability reports and recommendation documents.
7. Carrying out anti-money laundering checks and obtaining literature from providers.
8. Managing appointment bookings and client communications.
9. Maintaining lead records and progress tracking.
10. Ensuring advisers have access to up-to-date literature and technical information.
11. Staying informed on relevant product, legislative, and industry changes.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal Paraplanner candidate will have experience within an IFA or wealth management setting, supporting advisers in a paraplanning or technical administration role. A strong understanding of investments, pensions, protection/life cover, and ideally, tax or trust arrangements is essential. They will be Level 4 Diploma qualified, confident working independently or as part of a team, and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
