Role – Mechanical Design Engineer
Location – Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – Full time work
Capacity for role – Permanent position
Salary – Up to £50,000 per annum
Our client is currently recruiting for Mechanical Design Engineer to join their busy design team.
Candidates will need to be proficient with 2d/3d practises.
Main duties will include -
Creation of detailed 3D/2D of mechanical components and assemblies using industrial design software.
Working closely with engineers, project managers and other professional within the business to evaluate the feasibility of design, resolve design issues and ensuring final products meet project requirements.
Creating and maintaining comprehensive design documentation including bill of materials, assembly instructions and design processes
Candidate Attributes -
•Good knowledge and experience using Inventor Professional (other 3D modelling packages will also be considered)
•Experience working within a design office environment
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel)
